Square Enix have confirmed that Moogles will be appearing in Final Fantasy 16, modeled after the Moogles in Final Fantasy 14. And speaking of Final Fantasy 14, Square Enix sent me a postcard. They said that the Starlight Celebration is happening between the 15 and 31 Dec 2022 and more updates for the game will be coming next year. Thank you Square Enix for the postcard. And the next bit of news for today, is modders has spent the last three years working on an upscaled version of Star Wars Dark Forces, which came out in 1995 on MS-DOS. It's a very old game, but there was a passion to remake it. Of course, this is not sanctioned or endorsed by the original developer. It's a fan made project which revitalizes the game. And the last bit of news for today is Epic Games have been hit by a $520,000,000 fine by the FTC. $275,000,000 of that is for violating child privacy laws, and another $245,000,000 of that is to refund customers who were duped into making unwanted purchases. It's the biggest fine in the FTC's history in that category. If you want to see the full detail of it, be sure to head over to the FTC's website to see why they issued such a huge fine against Epic Games and especially Fortnite.
