Apparently, the PlayStation 5 Pro is going to get a very big upgrade. While the upgrade will be software based, it will allow for more features to unlock on the PlayStation 5 Pro, including improved image quality and increased frame rates, unlocking frame rates for games that were previously capped, and boosting the resolution of classic games. Apparently, said upgrades are going to be announced during the first quarter of 2026. When we get an official announcement from PlayStation, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. Do you have a PlayStation 5 Pro? And the next bit of news for today is apparently the release date of Forza Horizon 6 has leaked. Apparently, the leak happened from Microsoft itself by putting an in game ad on Forza Horizon 5 early. Apparently, the game will be releasing on the 19 May 2026, with early access starting on the 15 May 2026. As with all leaks, please take it with a grain of salt. The next Xbox Developer_Direct, which will be broadcast on 22 Jan 2026, will feature a section, which is dedicated to Forza Horizon 6. And the last bit of news for today is the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog games for January 2026 have been announced. They will include Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth, Resident Evil Village, Exit 8 and more. They will be available if you have the PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium tiers from 20 Jan 2026.
