And the next bit of news for today is there's speculation that the Saints Row franchise is dead. The reason why is the original Design Director from the original Saints Row game sent a pitch for a potential prequel to the current owners of the IP, The Embracer Group. However, after all this time, he feels he's been completely ghosted by The Embracer group. As a result, in Chris Stockman's opinion, the franchise is dead. And the last bit of news for today is Game Informer had an exclusive interview with IO Interactive about the upcoming 007 First Light. They filmed the interview at the IO Interactive headquarters in Copenhagen, where they interviewed the gameplay director of the game. The Director spoke about the different design philosophies, how they want to give players as many choices as possible to approach every encounter. They also spoke in detail about how they learnt a lot from the Hitman series and also how they're taking inspiration from other games. There's also a little bit about the driving mechanics, how they wanted to find a balance between realism and arcadey driving. 007 First Light will be releasing on 27 May 2026.
