Apparently, Pokémon Pokopia has been massively successful. It has led to a 10% surge in the Nintendo stock price and has also seen the physical edition being sold out in many retailers. Possibly the reason why it sold out physically is because Nintendo didn't anticipate that a life simulation game, which is similar in scope to Animal Crossing and Minecraft, would become one of the most viral Pokémon games of recent memory. The game is available digitally from the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop. Are you interested in a game like Pokémon Pokopia? And the next bit of news for today is a new trailer of Tides of Annihilation was released. The trailer was released by Nvidia during GDC 2026, which shows full path tracing and DLSS 4.5 being used in the game. They show a comparison between all those settings off and on and shows clearly the effect it has on the look of the game. There isn't a release date yet for Tides of Annihilation, but when there is I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News. For Tides of Annihilation, do you prefer RTX off or RTX on? And the last bit of news for today is Microsoft have announced further details of the upcoming Project Helix. Project Helix is a codename for the next gen console coming from Xbox and they've also detailed a multi year deal that they've signed with AMD. Apparently, the PlayStation 6 and the next Xbox are both targeting 4K 120 FPS. When we know the release date for the next generation Xbox console, I'll be sure to mention it on the Gaming News.
