God of War PC, Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 Next Gen, Starfield Settled Systems | Gaming News

Starfield Settled Systems

Hello guys and welcome to the Gaming News for the 21 Oct 2021. Bethesda have released a new trailer for the upcoming Starfield called The Settled Systems. They give a brief introduction talking about where is the game going to be located? Some of the different races that are going to be in the game and stuff like that. If you want to check out the Starfield Settled Systems trailer. I thought it looked quite interesting. I want to believe in Starfield, but we just really don't have enough information and right now it's stated for release on the 11 Nov 2022 next year. We will see over the next year if we get more information about it. I hope it turns out well.

God of War PC

The next bit of news for today is God of War, which came out in 2018 on PlayStation 4 and recently was remastered for PlayStation 5, is now going to be coming out on PC on the 14 January of next year. They released a trailer showing the game running at 4K 60 FPS basically locked. That's what you get if you have a powerful PC, you could probably push it even higher than that. If you've never played God of War, it's now available for pre order on the Steam store so you can go over on Steam and you can preorder it if you want or you can just wait. I personally won't be revisiting it because I already got the Platinum Trophy on PlayStation, but if you have not played God of War, I would really highly recommend it. It's really good. It has won so many Game of the Year awards and for good reason it's a great game.

Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 Next Gen

And then the last bit of news for today is CD Projekt Red released a short statement saying "Dear all, we have an important update regarding next generation updates for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt for consoles and PC. Based on recommendations supplied by team supervising development of both games, we decided to postpone their releases until 2022. Our current target of Cyberpunk 2077 is the first quarter of 2022 and the second quarter of 2022 for The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt. Apologies for the extended wait, but we want to make it right." Obviously that's after all the backlash of the original launch of Cyberpunk 2077, they're now very cautious about releasing anything which is natural. You would expect that to happen. What they mean by next gen? It means a native release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X. They really want to make sure that the versions of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3 work as well as they possibly can on the next gen systems. Again we will wait and see. I am personally still waiting to play Cyberpunk 2077. I played it for a couple of hours only on PC and it ran really badly when it first launched. I am waiting for the PlayStation 5 release and then I will give Cyberpunk 2077 a serious go. Anyway, guys, that's it for the Gaming News for today. Thank you so much for the new followers as always, every single day on the feed. And I will see you tomorrow. Thanks, guys. Bye bye.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have played hundreds of games in my life and have experienced truly amazing games. As time has passed and games continue to evolve, I want to share my gaming adventures with the world so you can improve your gaming experience too.

There are several gaming franchises I love experiencing a lot such as Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, God of War, Uncharted, Yakuza, Assassin's Creed, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, Xenoblade Chronicles and more.

In 1997 when I was 12 years old, a class mate of mine asked me, have you ever played Final Fantasy 7? I was like no, what’s that? He lent me his copy, and I remember on the first night I escaped Midgar after not being able to put it down for 5 to 6 hours even though it was a school night. Shortly after I finished the game and my gaming obsession was truly planted.

Towards the end of 1998 I played Zelda 64 Ocarina of Time. It was a revelation to me, given its combat, story telling, music and satisfying ending. It also gave a hint of what open world could look like given how “huge” Hyrule Field was, which was massive for the time. After nearly 25 years, Zelda 64 Ocarina of Time still sits at the top of my favourite games of all time list.

When I went to University during 2003 to 2007, it was the era of Half Life 2. I remember spending a portion of my student loan so I could get a gaming pc powerful enough to play it.

During that time I also started my adventures in MMOs including Final Fantasy 11 and World of Warcraft. It amazes me that they are still online to this day.

After leaving University, I like most people ended up in the 9 to 5 cycle, after a year of being stuck in the “no job without experience, no experience without a job”. At the time I was still living with my parents and I got distracted on girls for a while. My love for gaming never ended though, with it always being a fall back for me.

In 2013, I started my first YouTube channel, as a way to also document my time in the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn. I had seen some YouTubers who made really good videos. For me, at the time, it was a hobby to do on the evening and weekends, I never went into it thinking one day it would be my job. I would have made videos, even if it made no money at all.

After 10 years of multiple jobs, living a very miserable existence in the 9 to 5 cycle, it all abruptly ended in 2018 with my disability of severe anxiety preventing me from commuting to London to work any more.

During the Pandemic, a lot of people were losing their jobs, and there was a lot more time to produce videos and play games. While growing as a content creator, I noticed my Instagram page had little to no content. One day I picked up my phone and recorded a video talking about gaming as it was my favourite hobby.

As I have now played hundreds of games and my passion has evolved for the last 30 years, I see my love for gaming lasting until the day I die. Games have made me laugh, made me cry, and everything in between. The recent price increases have definitely dampened gaming for most gamers, but I am in a privileged position as an Independent Gaming Journalist to receive a lot of games for free from developers and publishers to review.

I hope I can always bring the highest quality Gaming News every day, in digestible 1 to 1.5 minute summaries, to share the passion I have always had for it.

There is a lot more to my gaming history than what I've written above and if you want to talk to me about it feel free to pop by my Twitch Live Stream sometime and say hello!

I started in August 2013 as a hobby, and went full time during 2018.

Being a YouTuber, Streamer, or Content Creator is not the primary goal. I am working to enjoy my life and remain independent. I do not want to spend my life taking orders from other people.

I have 10 years commercial experience as a website and database developer that I can fall back on. I was able to develop this entire website using my experience.
