The next State of Play stream by PlayStation will be today at 10 pm UK, 5 pm ET, 2 pm PT, Call of Duty Vanguard will require a lot less space to install than previous entries in the series and Shadow Warrior 3 is delayed until 2022.

State of Play Today

Tonight there will be a State of Play by PlayStation, which is a live stream they do every now and then to show off new announcements. Tonight's State of Play is going to be focused around third party titles, and there is speculation of whether that will include Final Fantasy 16 by Square Enix. But we have to just wait and see.

It will be tonight at 10:00 p.m. UK, which is 05:00 p.m. ET or 02:00 p.m. PT. Hopefully we'll get some good announcements. It's not going to be that long. I heard it's going to be about 30 minutes in length, so we'll see tonight what they release and you'll be able to watch it on YouTube or Twitch. They've already actually set up the YouTube stream and then it will probably be on twitch.tv/playstation.

State of Play is always an exciting event for PlayStation fans, as it gives them a glimpse into what's coming up in the world of gaming. Third party titles are often a highlight of these streams, as they showcase the diversity and range of games available on the PlayStation platform. Final Fantasy 16, in particular, is a highly anticipated title that fans have been eagerly waiting for.

Final Fantasy is a popular franchise developed by Square Enix. Known for its immersive storytelling, breathtaking visuals, and engaging gameplay, Final Fantasy games have captivated players for decades. The announcement of Final Fantasy 16 during the State of Play would be a significant moment for fans and would undoubtedly generate a lot of excitement within the gaming community.

In addition to Final Fantasy 16, there may be other exciting third party announcements during the State of Play. PlayStation has a strong lineup of partnerships with various developers and publishers, ensuring a diverse range of games for its players. These collaborations often result in exclusive content, early access, or special editions, adding value to the PlayStation gaming experience.

As the State of Play will be streamed on YouTube and Twitch, viewers will have the convenience of choosing their preferred platform to watch the event. YouTube and Twitch are popular streaming platforms that have a wide reach and provide interactive features for viewers. This allows fans to engage in real-time discussions and reactions while watching the State of Play.

Call of Duty Vanguard Smaller File Size

In other gaming news, Call of Duty Vanguard is set to have a significantly smaller file size compared to previous Call of Duty games. This announcement comes as a relief for gamers who have struggled with limited hard drive space due to the large file sizes of previous titles.

The official Call of Duty Twitter account mentioned that Vanguard's install size at launch will be significantly below previous releases, thanks to new on-demand texture streaming technology. This technology is expected to save up to 30% to 50% of disk space on next-gen consoles and PCs.

Call of Duty games, including popular titles like Warzone, have been notorious for their large file sizes. The size of these games has often posed challenges for players, particularly those with limited storage capacity or slower internet connections. Many players have had to uninstall other games or purchase additional storage just to accommodate the massive file sizes.

The move towards a smaller file size for Call of Duty Vanguard is a positive step towards addressing these concerns. By optimizing texture streaming and utilizing new technologies, players will have a more convenient and efficient gaming experience. It also reflects the developers' efforts to make their games more accessible to a wider audience without compromising on the quality and content.

It's worth noting that as games continue to evolve graphically and in terms of content, file sizes are likely to increase. However, with advancements in storage technology and optimization techniques, developers can find ways to strike a balance between high-quality visuals and manageable file sizes.

Shadow Warrior 3 Delayed

Lastly, Shadow Warrior 3, developed by Flying Wild Hog and published by Devolver Digital, has been delayed. Devolver Digital took to Twitter to announce that the game needs a bit more time to sharpen its blades and will now be released in early 2022. They also released a short trailer to inform fans about the delay.

Delays are a common occurrence in the gaming industry as developers strive to ensure their games meet high standards of quality and polish. While delays may disappoint eager fans, they ultimately contribute to a better gaming experience by allowing developers to fine-tune and optimize their games.

Shadow Warrior 3 is the latest installment in the popular first-person shooter franchise known for its fast-paced action, over-the-top combat, and humor. Fans of the series have been eagerly awaiting this new entry, and the delay may come as a disappointment. However, it's important to remember that delays are often necessary to deliver a polished and enjoyable gaming experience.

Early next year, fans can expect to embark on a new adventure in the world of Shadow Warrior, filled with intense combat, stunning visuals, and the signature humor that the series is known for. The delay announcement trailer released by Devolver Digital serves as a teaser to keep fans excited about what's to come.

In conclusion, the State of Play event by PlayStation promises exciting third-party announcements, potentially including the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 16. Call of Duty Vanguard's smaller file size is a welcome development for players who have struggled with storage space in the past, and the delay of Shadow Warrior 3 highlights the dedication of developers to delivering a high-quality gaming experience. These updates and news in the world of gaming keep players engaged and excited for what's to come in the future of the industry.
