The former creative director of Uncharted called Amy Hennig has joined Skydance Interactive and they are working on a Marvel game. They released a statement which says "I can't imagine a better partner than Marvel for our first game. The Marvel Universe epitomizes all the action, mystery and frills of the pulp adventure genre that I adore and lends itself perfectly to an interactive experience. It's an honor to be able to tell an original story with all the humanity, complexity and humor that makes Marvel characters so enduring and to enable our players to embody these heroes that they love." We will see what they have planned. We have a lot of Marvel crossovers. I'm still personally playing through Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy that was just released by Square Enix and Eidos Interactive, and it's really good. Marvel is definitely a good partner for video games these days. Then the next bit of news for today is Nintendo released Nintendo 64 games on the expansion pass on Nintendo Switch. But one notable game that was missing was GoldenEye 007. Now the game apparently has been banned in Germany for the last 25 years, and it has now been requested to be unbanned, and that is vital for it to appear on the Nintendo Switch Online. We will see if it gets unbanned in Germany and then is allowed to be put onto the expansion pass so that players can get onto it again. Because GoldenEye 007 is one of the most loved games from the Nintendo 64 era, it would be a nice thing if it gets re-released on the Nintendo Switch. The last bit of news for today is apparently Resident Evil Village has now sold 5 million copies. If you haven't played it, it's worth playing, it's a worthy successor to Resident Evil 7, which I recently reported actually sold more than 10 million copies and it's really fun. I would really highly recommend Resident Evil Village if you've not played it already.
