The expansion for FFXIV called Endwalker has been delayed by 2 weeks, Former and Current Ubisoft Staff have created a petition calling for change at the company after they feel a lack of action was taken from the open letter sent previously, and pre load is available for the GTA Trilogy - Definitive Edition.

Ubisoft Staff Petition

Around 100 days ago, an open letter was sent by the Ubisoft staff, similar to the situation at Blizzard, demanding better treatment of employees. However, a group consisting of both former and current employees at Ubisoft feels that not enough progress has been made. In a recent tweet, they expressed their disappointment, stating, "100 days ago we signed our open letter and set our four key demands. None of the demands have been met. So today we're launching a new petition, open for all our supporters to sign. Please sign and share."

The employees are frustrated with the lack of updates and changes that have been implemented within the company. They are hoping for progress and improvements in the working conditions for all Ubisoft staff. The ongoing fight for better treatment and fairness within the company remains important, as they believe that by persisting in their efforts, positive changes could eventually be realized.

It is crucial for game developers and companies to prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of their employees. Unresolved issues and mistreatment of staff can lead to negative work environments, decreased productivity, and even employee burnout. By addressing these concerns, Ubisoft could create a more positive and supportive workplace for its employees, ultimately benefiting the company as a whole.

GTA Trilogy Pre Load Available Now

In other news, gamers eagerly awaiting the release of the GTA Trilogy can now rejoice, as the pre-load option is available. This allows players to download game data ahead of the official release on platforms such as PlayStation and Xbox. By pre-loading the game, players can save time and start playing as soon as the game is fully released.

It's worth noting that the download size for the GTA Trilogy is approximately five times larger than the original PlayStation 2 versions. This increase in size is expected, given the inclusion of modern textures and other enhancements that require additional storage space. To put it into perspective, the original GTA III on PlayStation 2 required about 1.5 GB of space, whereas the remastered version now occupies around 5 GB. Despite the increase in size, it is still relatively small compared to the download sizes of other recent games.

FFXIV Endwalker Delayed

In the world of gaming, Final Fantasy XIV fans eagerly awaiting the release of the highly anticipated expansion, Endwalker, will have to wait a little longer. The expansion, originally scheduled for release in the next couple of weeks, has been delayed by two weeks. Players can now expect the official release of Endwalker on December 7th, with early access starting on December 3rd.

Although delays in game releases can be disappointing for fans, they are often necessary to ensure the best possible experience for players. Game developers face numerous challenges during the development process, including debugging, polishing, and ensuring overall game stability. By allowing additional time for refinement and optimization, developers can deliver a more polished and enjoyable gaming experience.

To provide gamers with more information on the Endwalker delay, a detailed announcement is forthcoming. This announcement will address the reasons behind the delay and offer further insights into the expansion's features and improvements. For those seeking more in-depth information, there will also be a video available on a main channel dedicated to Final Fantasy XIV, providing a comprehensive overview of the delay and what players can expect from Endwalker.

In conclusion, ongoing efforts by employees to improve working conditions and treatment within game development companies like Ubisoft are essential. By prioritizing the well-being of staff, companies can create more supportive and productive work environments. Additionally, the availability of pre-loading for games like the GTA Trilogy can save players time and allow for a smoother gaming experience. Finally, while delays may be disappointing for fans, they often result in more polished and enjoyable games, as seen in the case of the delayed release of Final Fantasy XIV's Endwalker expansion.
