Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
Fortnite Unreal Engine 5
Fortnite has been upgraded to Unreal Engine 5 as of the latest season launch. the reason why that matters is because Unreal Engine is actually made by Epic Games who also make Fortnite. It makes sense for them to use their own engine to upgrade their own games. Because Unreal Engine is used by so many other game companies as well for their games. Often you will see this game is powered by Unreal Engine 4 or whatever. Just know that it's made by Epic Games.
Uncharted Legacy of Thieves
The next bit of news for today is Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection is now listed on Steam, if you want to go ahead and wish list it. It's a PC remaster of Uncharted 4 and also Uncharted Lost Legacy, and it will be coming to PlayStation 5 as well. If you're interested and you haven't played it before, the Uncharted games are amazing. I would highly recommend them and it's nice that they're being upgraded to PC and to PlayStation 5. I loved Uncharted 4 on PlayStation 4. I am really looking forward to what it looks like on PlayStation 5.
Dragon Age 4 Single Player
And then the last bit of news for today is BioWare has confirmed that Dragon Age 4 is going to be a single player game. They released a blog talking about details of the upcoming game, what they're working on and in it it says "Speakinig of building new world and stories for you to explore. We want to let you all know that we're still hard at work on building the next single player focused experience for Dragon Age. We're excited for next year when we can talk more about what we're working on." There was a little bit of speculation about whether it would be single player or not, but this basically confirms that it is. If you're looking forward to Dragon Age 4, then know that it will be a single player experience.
