Prime Gaming FIFA 22, PS5 Console Covers, Xbox Selling Red Ring of Death Posters | Gaming News

PS5 Cover Plates

Hello, guys, and welcome to the Gaming News for the 14 Dec 2021. PlayStation are going to be releasing different PlayStation 5 covers and also different controller colors for the PlayStation 5, and they will be available in Midnight Black, Cosmic Red, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue and Galactic Purple. And this was announced via the PlayStation Blog and also a couple of trailers. If you're interested in officially changing the color of your PlayStation, then know it's going to be an option for you to buy soon.

Xbox Selling Ring of Death Posters

And then the next bit of news for today is Xbox are selling Red Ring of Death posters. I think personally that's in bad taste because what happened is when the Xbox 360 originally launched, more than half of them didn't work and a lot of people would suffer with a Red Ring of Death. Once you saw the Red Ring of Death, that was it. The console was basically busted. It had to be returned to Xbox and so on. And then to remedy that, they did fix as many as they could. But some players were really angry about it. And then they released the Xbox 360 Elite, which basically didn't have the Red Ring of Death anywhere near as much. Personally, I think it's in bad taste. Bad show, Xbox really bad. It's somewhat funny to reflect on the mistakes of the past, but a lot of people who bought Xbox 360s were really angry at the time and they had really negative experiences. I would say it's in bad taste and they probably shouldn't be doing this.

Prime Gaming FIFA 22

And then the last bit of news for today is Prime Gaming, formerly known as Twitch Prime, are going to be giving out FIFA 22 packs and you'll be able to redeem them every single month. You can go on to the Prime Gaming page. You log in with your Twitch account. You can then claim it each month to get a pack in FIFA 22. Now personally, I've not played FIFA for a long time, especially since it's turned into what feels like a loot box game. I thought FIFA was supposed to be just football, but basically know that that's an option in case you are a FIFA fan. Maybe someone can explain to me in the comment section what FIFA is now. Anyway, guys, that's it for the Gaming News for today. Thank you so much for the new followers as always. And I will see you tomorrow. Thanks guys, bye bye.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have played hundreds of games in my life and have experienced truly amazing games. As time has passed and games continue to evolve, I want to share my gaming adventures with the world so you can improve your gaming experience too.

There are several gaming franchises I love experiencing a lot such as Final Fantasy, Resident Evil, God of War, Uncharted, Yakuza, Assassin's Creed, The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario, Xenoblade Chronicles and more.

In 1997 when I was 12 years old, a class mate of mine asked me, have you ever played Final Fantasy 7? I was like no, what’s that? He lent me his copy, and I remember on the first night I escaped Midgar after not being able to put it down for 5 to 6 hours even though it was a school night. Shortly after I finished the game and my gaming obsession was truly planted.

Towards the end of 1998 I played Zelda 64 Ocarina of Time. It was a revelation to me, given its combat, story telling, music and satisfying ending. It also gave a hint of what open world could look like given how “huge” Hyrule Field was, which was massive for the time. After nearly 25 years, Zelda 64 Ocarina of Time still sits at the top of my favourite games of all time list.

When I went to University during 2003 to 2007, it was the era of Half Life 2. I remember spending a portion of my student loan so I could get a gaming pc powerful enough to play it.

During that time I also started my adventures in MMOs including Final Fantasy 11 and World of Warcraft. It amazes me that they are still online to this day.

After leaving University, I like most people ended up in the 9 to 5 cycle, after a year of being stuck in the “no job without experience, no experience without a job”. At the time I was still living with my parents and I got distracted on girls for a while. My love for gaming never ended though, with it always being a fall back for me.

In 2013, I started my first YouTube channel, as a way to also document my time in the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn. I had seen some YouTubers who made really good videos. For me, at the time, it was a hobby to do on the evening and weekends, I never went into it thinking one day it would be my job. I would have made videos, even if it made no money at all.

After 10 years of multiple jobs, living a very miserable existence in the 9 to 5 cycle, it all abruptly ended in 2018 with my disability of severe anxiety preventing me from commuting to London to work any more.

During the Pandemic, a lot of people were losing their jobs, and there was a lot more time to produce videos and play games. While growing as a content creator, I noticed my Instagram page had little to no content. One day I picked up my phone and recorded a video talking about gaming as it was my favourite hobby.

As I have now played hundreds of games and my passion has evolved for the last 30 years, I see my love for gaming lasting until the day I die. Games have made me laugh, made me cry, and everything in between. The recent price increases have definitely dampened gaming for most gamers, but I am in a privileged position as an Independent Gaming Journalist to receive a lot of games for free from developers and publishers to review.

I hope I can always bring the highest quality Gaming News every day, in digestible 1 to 1.5 minute summaries, to share the passion I have always had for it.

There is a lot more to my gaming history than what I've written above and if you want to talk to me about it feel free to pop by my Twitch Live Stream sometime and say hello!

I started in August 2013 as a hobby, and went full time during 2018.

Being a YouTuber, Streamer, or Content Creator is not the primary goal. I am working to enjoy my life and remain independent. I do not want to spend my life taking orders from other people.

I have 10 years commercial experience as a website and database developer that I can fall back on. I was able to develop this entire website using my experience.
