AccountNGT tweeted out saying "On Hogwarts Legacy because some people have asked about that, expect the September release, next trailer based on skills / abilities in February / March (PlayStation event in any case)." This leaker keeps talking about Hogwarts Legacy and we'll see if anything he says actually materializes. I am still really excited for Hogwarts Legacy that's why I keep talking about it on the Gaming News and I do want to see more information. Hopefully, we will get actual facts eventually rather than just rumor.
The next bit of news for today is YouTuber GilvaSunner tweeted out saying "Over 1300 copyright blocks on the YouTube channel today. Here are all the soundtracks Nintendo has blocked this time." This YouTuber was uploading a lot of soundtrack based videos. Apparently he wasn't monetizing any of them, but because he uploaded so many, he received, as you can see, 1300 Copyright blocks from Nintendo because of it. Now personally, I think he's very lucky that his account wasn't striked down completely. Hopefully, in the future game companies can centralize the OST music because there's a massive demand for it. We see it in Final Fantasy. We see it in so many different games that feature amazing music. What I think should happen is game companies should make their own OST videos, fill it with exclusive content, maybe amazing art that we haven't seen before or background of the games and stuff like that, and then potentially just Copyright Claim anyone else who's doing OST videos on YouTube. I don't see that as a problem.
The last bit of news for today is Square Enix are going to be doing a live stream event tomorrow morning to commemorate 25 years since Final Fantasy VII launched. And while the stream is going to be focused primarily on Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier, the battle royale they released, it's also going to have guest appearances from Yoshinori Kitase and Tetsuya Nomura, which is leading to speculation that we might get at least a little bit of a glimpse of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2. But again, we have to just wait and see. There's a lot of speculation right now about what's going to happen, but as we get closer to February and all the massive releases, I would say that there's plenty of other things to focus on.
