Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
BioShock Film Adaptation
Netflix Geeked tweeted out saying "Netflix, 2K and Take Two Interactive are partnering to produce a film adaptation of the renowned video game franchise BioShock." Right now, there is not any director or actors attached to it. But we will see with time when more details emerge of it. I love the BioShock games, I've played them all and the ending of BioShock Infinite blew my mind. I'm definitely interested to see how this comes to film.
Cyberpunk 2077 Patch Notes 1.5
And then the next bit of news for today is yesterday CD Projekt Red announced the next gen versions of Cyberpunk 2077, including for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S and X. And in a surprise, they launched it as well. It wasn't just announced, it was actually released yesterday. You can get it right now. And they've released the patch notes. Be sure to give them a read through, if you care, to see how they've changed the game. And if you have the PlayStation 4 version for example, and you're playing on the PlayStation 5, you'll be able to just upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free. But you'll need to redownload the game. From what I saw yesterday, the download on PlayStation 5, for example, for the complete game is more than 90 GB. Be ready for that.
Resident Evil Museum
Then, the last bit of news for today is Capcom tweeted out saying "History is now available. First of all, the first memorable masterpiece. I still remember clearly 25 years later how scary it was to see the first zombie turn around. Check out the history of the Resident Evil series." They've released the Resident Evil Museum. It's an online portal which will feature Resident Evil 1, 2, 3 and Zero for now and then it will be expanded with time. If you want, be sure to log into it and see what's in there.
