Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!
Silent Hill VR
Konami has updated their trademarks for Silent Hill, as well as other trademarks that they hold. The interesting thing that has been spotted by an article written on Dual Shockers is that there might be a sign of a Silent Hill VR in the works. We will see if a VR mode for Silent Hill comes out in the future. I think that will be very intense, just like Resident Evil 7 VR in the past.
Elden Ring Sells 12 Million
And then the next bit of news for today is Bandai Namco and FromSoftware posted an article on their website celebrating 12 million copies of Elden Ring sold as well as stating that they want to branch out the franchise into other areas of your life, which may be is hinting at a TV show or movie, who knows? Congratulations to FromSoftware. I hope they give very hefty bonuses to their developers.
Resident Evil Next Gen Save Transfer
And then the last bit of news for today is Resident Evil tweeted out saying "We're happy to confirm that saved data from the original PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of these games will carry over to the respective upgraded versions. The DLC that comes with Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition will transfer over as well." This is in regards to Resident Evil 2, 3 and 7 which are getting upgrades for next gen.
