Introduction

Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

Epic Games Store Sale

The Spring Sale is going on in the Epic Games Store between the 24 March and the 7 April 2022 and it can include discounts of between 50% to 75% on many big games including Borderlands 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Deathloop and a lot more. If you buy your PC games from the Epic Games Store, be sure to use support a content creator code Mithrie. It does exist and it will support me directly.

Steam Deck Opt In Feedback Explained

And the next bit of news for today is some games which are Steam Deck Verified, which means they're meant to be working fully on the Steam Deck have been experiencing problems according to user feedback. Valve has responded by creating an opt in feedback feature for the Steam Deck and they posted on their blog to explain and show what it will look like. Players are able to give feedback about individual games which have been verified but are still experiencing problems. Hopefully, working together, Valve will be able to fix it with their customers in order to make sure that the Steam Deck is as good as it can be.

Bungie Copyright Notices

And the last bit of news for today is Bungie tweeted out saying "We are aware of a series of Copyright Takedowns on YouTube. We're actively investigating. This includes content on our own Bungie channels. These actions have not been taken at the request of Bungie or our partners. Please stand by for future updates." And they posted a longer post on the official website explaining the situation as well as the official rules of what could actually lead to a Copyright Takedown notice from Bungie themselves. In this situation it's been happening outside of their control. The Copyright system on YouTube is not perfect. It has been highlighted several times by many content creators is on YouTube. Hopefully, YouTube as well can take action to prevent these sort of things happening in the future.
