Off The Grid Announced
Off The Grid has been announced by Gunzilla Games. It's going to be a Battle Royale game that's going to be coming out in 2023. District 9 and Elysium director Neill Blomkamp is going to be involved with the game. And so far from the teaser trailer actually looks really interesting. We'll see if we get more information about it in the future.
Ubisoft Avoiding Acquisition
And the next bit of news for today is Ubisoft might be trying to avoid being acquired. That's according to a report on Seeking Alpha. There is speculation that the owners of Ubisoft are trying to partner with a private equity company in order to retain control of Ubisoft.
Final Fantasy 16 Nearly Complete
And the last bit of news for today is according to Naoki Yoshida, during a Nier Re[in]carnation stream, Final Fantasy 16 is nearly complete, with a new trailer being made already, though it was delayed for unannounced reasons and the dev team is just spending time now on just polishing and debugging. The game itself is pretty much complete. We will see if there's more information about that soon. The speculation is that maybe we'll get the new trailer during the Summer Game Fest. As soon as we have more information about Final Fantasy 16, I'll be sure to share it on the Gaming News.
