Focus Entertainment have released extended gameplay for the game Evil West, which is going to be coming out in September. It is a stylistic Cowboys slaying Vampires game and to me personally, it looks really interesting. I really like the gameplay that I saw because of its style. And hopefully I'll be checking out the game when it comes out. The next bit of news for today is Nintendo have announced a Nintendo Direct focused on Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which will be on the 22 Jun 2022. It will feature roughly 20 minutes of information about the game and the game itself will be coming out on the 29 Jul 2022. I hope that we get some really good information from it. And the last bit of news for today is there's been some complaints about the price of The Last of Us Remake. Given it's a PlayStation 5 Exclusive game, it's going to be charged at the full $70 like all the other PlayStation 5 Exclusives. And some people have been complaining because the game is not as long as other games. And also as well, it's already been released twice on PlayStation 3 and also remastered for PlayStation 4. For some of the fans, it will be the third time they're buying the game and they don't want to pay even more for it. I do definitely agree with the sentiment. The higher the prices go, the less gamers will be able to afford gaming, which is the unfortunate side of it. And with the release, for example, Final Fantasy 7 Remake on Steam, it was reduced by 29% for the initial sale, which will last until the 07 Jul 2022. And it has been seeing some great sales. Final Fantasy 7 Remake apparently was the highest selling game on Steam last week. But it's also a scarcity tactic. It's an established way of getting more sales initially is to increase the price and then apply a short discount, so people believe that "if I don't buy it right now, then I will never be able to get at this price or I have to wait a long time". We will see if they apply a discount to The Last of Us Remake at some point to get more people to buy it so that the $70 full price tag doesn't hit as hard.
