Final Fantasy 16 Exclusive

Final Fantasy 16 is set to be a PlayStation 5 exclusive for at least 6 months and then it will be made available elsewhere, maybe on PC. Final Fantasy 7 Remake also had a similar exclusivity deal with PlayStation. The game is set to come out in summer 2023. We will see how it does when it releases.

Hideo Kojima Rejecting Offers

And the next bit of news for today is talking on his podcast, Hideo Kojima has said that a lot of offers are coming in for Kojima Productions for buyout or takeover and he is rejecting all of them, even though some of them have ridiculously high price offers. The reason he is rejecting all the offers was for his independence and to be able to create the games he wants to create. And I completely understand that. Since going independent and away from the traditional 9 to 5 and being my own boss, I wouldn't trade it for the world even if I make less money. The freedom that comes with it is unmatched in value.

Sonic Frontiers Released

And the last bit of news for today is Sonic Frontiers has released to decent reviews with both IGN and Gamespot giving it a 7 out of 10. The other reviews for the game talk about the graphical pop in and also that you can 100% the game in less than 20 hours. Other than that, the game is a revitalization for Sonic that fans have been waiting for, apparently.
