Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

Konami Game Releases

In an interview with Famitsu, Konami teased that they have several games in development and there is still speculation about whether Metal Gear Solid 3, is actually being remade or not. The biggest announcement for this year is Silent Hill 2 Remake.

Final Fantasy 7 Producer Tease

And then the next bit of news for today is the President of Square Enix has doubled down on the investments that Square Enix is making into blockchain technology, investing in startup companies and more. And also the Producer of Final Fantasy 7 has spoken about the non Final Fantasy related announcements that we might be getting later this year. If there's any big announcements from Square Enix, I'll be sure to report it on the Gaming News.

Resident Evil 4 Remake Features

And then the last bit of news for today is apparently the development team of Resident Evil 4 Remake were interviewed by EDGE Magazine. They spoke about how Resident Evil 4 Remake is being designed, with the team split equally between the Castle, the Village and the Island. Some fans were speculating about whether they'll keep the island in the game or not, but it has all but been confirmed that it will be in the Remake.
