The mobile game Assassin's Creed Codename Jade will have a Closed Beta between the 03 and 11 Aug 2023. You're able now to go to the website assassinscreed codenamejade.com and register for a chance to get into the Closed Beta. It's a mobile Assassin's Creed game based in China. Are you interested in Assassin's Creed Codename Jade? And the next bit of news for today is Insomniac Games have released the PC requirements for Ratchet and Clank Rift apart. The game will be coming out on the 26 Jul 2023 on PC. Previously the game was launched successfully onto PlayStation 5. PlayStation also released a PlayStation Blog talking about the various technologies, which are going to enhance the game further. Have you played Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart? And the last bit news for today is the body that represents gaming companies in the UK, the UKIE, is proposing that loot boxes be restricted for under 18 year olds in games. A year ago the UK Government released a statement talking about loot boxes in games and how they want to see if they can work with the industry to avoid having to make them illegal. If it was up to me personally, I would remove loot boxes from games whether 18 plus or not. In my opinion, they add nothing to the game experiences, they fuel the greed of the developers and they put people who are vulnerable to gambling addiction at risk. What do you think of Loot Boxes in games?
