PlayStation has acquired Firesprite, a studio based in Liverpool in the UK. Firesprite has collaborated previously with PlayStation on The Playroom, which is a PlayStation 4 game, and The Playroom VR. Apparently it's actually made up of a few former Sony employees, so they are welcoming those employees back into the fold of PlayStation. It's interesting that they've acquired it. Maybe it's so that they can collaborate more for VR stuff on PlayStation 5. I guess that would make sense.
The next bit of news for today is Life is Strange True Colors comes out officially tomorrow along with Tales of Arise. It's a big gaming day. The embargo lifts for Life is Strange True Colors today at noon Eastern. In case you see people playing the game just a couple of hours after recording this video, then that is why, because officially the Embargo lifts soon.
And the last bit of news today is tonight at 09:00 p.m. UK or 04:00 p.m. Eastern, 01:00 p.m. PDT* is the PlayStation Showcase. We will get 40 minutes of PlayStation 5 videos. We'll see what they have coming up, what they're going to announce. We'll see if there's any updates about certain games and also as well. We'll see if there's any new trailers for games which are coming soon like Kena Bridge of Spirits. We will see tonight what is in there and I'll be sure to highlight my favorite bits in the Gaming News tomorrow.
