Video Transcript

The Epic Games Store are going to be giving out 14 free games over the Christmas period, starting with Shenmue 3 on the 16 Dec 2021. The way it works is is you need to simply open the Epic Games Store and then add the game to your account during the time it's available for free. The giving away free games all the time, it's something I previously reported on. And for Christmas, they're doing a bunch of extra games and they do it at their own expense. It's not completely for free, like the developers still get paid, but you yourself don't have to pay anything and once it's added to your account, it's on your account forever, so be sure to take advantage. I do all the time. And then the next bit of news for today is The Game Awards 2021 is tonight starting in about 11 hours from now, so you should see the streams already set up. They're already scheduled. Personally I watch The Game Awards just to see the new trailers. It's almost like a mini E3 of new announcements and so on. And for me, the actual awards are secondary, but it's fun to watch. It's nice to watch any sort of big gaming show and hopefully tonight I'm going to be watching it. And then the last bit of news for today is Santa Monica Studios, along with PlayStation, have released a PC features trailer for God of War. God of War is coming to PC on the 14 Jan 2022. And they've also explained all of the extra features coming for the PC version as well as the PC spec requirements. If you want to hit certain performance targets, if you want to play at 4K 60 or if you only play at 1080p and so on and it looks nice. It looks really good. I'm really impressed with the trailer, so if you haven't played God of War before, I would highly recommend it. I actually got the Platinum Trophy on PlayStation so I won't be revisiting it, but I am looking forward to at least checking out some people who do revisit the game. Right now I'm waiting for the next God of War, God of War Ragnarok.
