A Chilean retailer is saying that God of War Ragnarok is going to come out in June 2022. It might be just a placeholder, but we will see if there's any more information about that in the future. I think a lot of people are very excited about the sequel to God of War, so we will see if we get more details about that soon. And the next bit of news for today is Valve's Steam Deck is now available for preorder, but there's been some supply chain issues, so you won't get it until the second quarter of 2022 if you buy now. But it's a handheld console that will be able to play most of the Steam library, not all of it, but most of it. If you're looking to play PC games on the fly, then the Steam Deck is for you also as well. Digital Foundry did a really detailed analysis of the performance of the Steam Deck, saying that it runs equivalent to a PlayStation 4, in some cases even better, obviously with a much smaller resolution. And the last bit of news for today is there is speculation that Xbox Game Pass might be coming to Steam. Recently, Bethesda announced that it's retiring its own launcher to move to Steam. And when Gabe Newell, who is the CEO of Valve, was asked if they would make a Steam Game Pass by PC Gamer, he replied saying, "I don't think it's something that we think we need to do ourselves. Building a subscription service at this time, but for their customers is clearly a popular option, and we'd be more than happy to work with them to get that on Steam." And then there's also a tweet from Phil Spencer, who is the head of Xbox replying to the Steam Deck that says, "This looks really great. Congrats to the team at Valve on getting so many of us excited to be able to take our games with us wherever we decide to play." Of course, it's not a confirmation or announcement. Maybe, we'll get an announcement soon if Xbox Game Pass is going to come to Steam as well. Hopefully, it will, I think it would be a really good partnership.
