Video Transcript

Paradox Interactive, who are the publisher behind games like Crusader Kings, have said that they are looking to acquire some companies or IPs. Accordingly to an article on NME, the CEO Fredrik Wester said "might be doing some acquisitions of companies or IPs throughout this coming year or years." And the next bit of news for today is according to an article on PCGamesN, Final Fantasy XIV should now be working again on the Steam Deck. There was an update for the game back in March which caused it to break on the Steam Deck because of the launcher. But now it should be working again. If you have a Steam Deck and you're looking to play FFXIV when you're out and about, then it should now be working. And the last bit of news for today is according to an article on VGC, Capcom is looking to potentially revive some of its dormant IPs and game series. Games like Resident Evil are going to continue to receive new updates. We're all waiting now for a potential Resident Evil 4 Remake and Resident Evil IX, for example. But other franchises such as Lost Planet, Power Stone and Okami haven't received updates in years. I personally have played Lost Planet 3. I really enjoyed it. I hope they do to make another one for the series and revive it. If there's any details about any revived IPs, I will be sure to mention it on the Gaming News.
