Resident Evil Showcase, A Plague Tale Requiem Out...

Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

Ys IX PS5 Enhanced Version

A PlayStation 5 version of Ys IX has been announced. Ys is a JRPG series which has gone under the radar. It doesn't get as much credit as it deserves. I played through all of Ys VIII. I absolutely loved it. I played Ys Origins and so on, so I would highly recommend the Ys series if you haven't checked it out already.

A Plague Tale Requiem Out Now

The next bit of news for today is A Plague Tale Requiem has released today and it has received some outstanding reviews. I would highly recommend to play the first game A Plague Tale Innocence first if you haven't played it already as it's a continuous story between the two games. I am definitely looking forward to playing it. It follows the adventure of Amicia and her younger brother Hugo and a massive swarm of rats. I won't say any more so that I don't spoil it for you.

Resident Evil Showcase

And the last bit of news for today is the next Resident Evil showcase is going to be broadcast on 20 Oct 2022 at 3 p.m. Pacific Time, which is 11 p.m. for us in the UK. And they will find show more of the Shadow of Rose DLC for Resident Evil 8, because it comes out the next day and hopefully we'll get more information about Resident Evil 4 Remake. I'm looking forward to it either way.
