Larian Studios have confirmed that Baldur's Gate 3 is Steam Deck Verified. What that means is that Valve themselves have tested Baldur's Gate 3 on the Steam Deck and have determined that the game fits all their criteria to meet verification. Also, Baldur's Gate 3 continues to increase in popularity. We will see by next weekend if it surpasses Hogwarts Legacy to take the number one spot for 2023 on Steam. Have you played Baldur's Gate 3? And the next bit of news for today is Square Enix's stock price has dropped more than 15% in morning trading in Japan. That's because of their quarterly results, where nearly every single game that they've worked on and released lately has not met the expectations of the company. Recently, Square Enix sold all of their Western studios and want to refocus on AAA games. Hopefully, they'll be able to recover from the current state of the stock price. What Square Enix game are you looking forward to the most? And the last bit of news for today is Rockstar Games have announced that a port for Red Dead Redemption is going to be releasing on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on the 17 Aug 2023. From the looks of it so far, it's a straight port of the game without many enhancements. Hopefully, it will bring a new generation of gamers to the first Red Dead Redemption game if they haven't played it previously.
