2023 2022 2021 | Dec Nov Oct Sep Aug Jul Jun May Apr Mar Feb Jan Next Previous

Introduction

Hey everyone, welcome to another edition of the daily gaming news. Here I'll be discussing all the latest goings-on in the gaming industry, from new releases to game announcements and everything in between. So without further ado, let's get started!

Need for Speed 2022 Release Date

Apparently, the next Need for Speed game is going to be coming out in November on next gen only. That means PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. Other developers have spoken about about how having to release games on previous generations can hold games back. That's why some are favoring next gen only. We will see if we get more details about that soon.

XCOM 2 Free

And the next bit of news for today is Insurmountable and XCOM 2 will be available for free on the Epic Games Store between the 14 and 21 April 2022. All you'll need to do is open the Epic Games Store and redeem them. You don't need an active subscription like with PlayStation Plus. And if you use the Epic Games Store to buy games, feel free to use Support Content Creator Code 'MITHRIE' if you want to support me directly.

New Subnautica Game

And the last bit of news for today is Unknown Worlds is recruiting a Senior Narrative Designer for the next Subnautica game, which is unofficial confirmation that one is actually on the way. Hopefully, we'll get more details about it sooner than later.

Conclusion

That's all for my roundup of the latest gaming news. What do you think? Are any of these stories big deals in your opinion? Let me know by leaving a comment on the video. And don't forget to check back tomorrow for more exciting gaming news!
