Star Wars Jedi Survivor will have updated combat, WB Montreal have started working on their next game, and new games have been added to PS Plus Extra.

WB Montreal Next Game

As spotted on LinkedIn, the Senior Producer of Gotham Knights has started working on an unannounced project. When there's more details about it, I'll be sure to report on the Gaming News but for now I won't speculate about what it could be.

PS Plus Extra Update

And the next bit of news for today is multiple games have been added to PlayStation Plus Extra for Dec 2022 including a few Far Cry games, Yakuza and more. Be sure to check it out. From the list, I would recommend the Yakuza games personally, but it's down to your own personal preference. If anything looks interesting on the list, be sure to download it if you're a PlayStation Plus Extra subscriber.

PlayStation Plus Extra is a subscription service offered by Sony for PS4 and PS5 users. It offers additional benefits to the regular PlayStation Plus membership, including exclusive access to free games, early access to demos, and exclusive discounts on select titles. This service is a fantastic way for Sony to engage with its player base and provide added value to their gaming experiences.

One of the standout titles that has been added to PlayStation Plus Extra for December 2022 is the Yakuza series. These games, developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, are set in the fictional Japanese district of Kamurocho and follow the story of Kazuma Kiryu, a former yakuza member. The Yakuza series is known for its immersive open-world environments, engaging storytelling, and unique mix of brutal combat and comedic side quests. If you enjoy action-packed games with a deep narrative, the Yakuza series is definitely worth checking out.

In addition to the Yakuza games, the Far Cry series has also made its way to PlayStation Plus Extra. Developed by Ubisoft, the Far Cry series is known for its stunning open-world environments, intense first-person shooter gameplay, and gripping narratives. Whether you're hunting down dangerous wildlife, liberating oppressed communities, or taking on powerful villains, the Far Cry series offers hours of thrilling gameplay and exploration.

It's always exciting to see new games being added to PlayStation Plus Extra. The service constantly introduces a diverse range of games, ensuring that there's something for everyone. Whether you're a fan of action-adventure, RPGs, first-person shooters, or puzzle games, PlayStation Plus Extra has you covered.

Star Wars Jedi Survivor Combat Explained

And the last bit of news for today is that Game Informer was given early access to Star Wars Jedi Survivor, and they have noted some significant changes coming to the combat system. In this highly anticipated game, players will have the opportunity to experience intense lightsaber battles as they survive in the unforgiving Star Wars universe.

One of the notable additions to the combat system is the introduction of different stances. Players will have the ability to switch between various combat stances, each offering unique advantages and strategies. This adds an additional layer of depth to the gameplay, as players will need to adapt their approach based on the enemy they're facing or the situation at hand.

Another exciting feature is the option to dual-wield lightsabers. Fans of the Star Wars franchise have always been fascinated by the idea of wielding two lightsabers simultaneously, and Jedi Survivor will finally make this dream a reality. Players will be able to unleash a flurry of attacks while seamlessly switching between their dual-wield stance and other combat styles.

Furthermore, players will also have the option to wield a lightsaber and a blaster at the same time. This opens up new possibilities for combat strategies, allowing players to engage enemies from both close and long-range distances. The ability to combine these two iconic weapon types will certainly make for some thrilling and cinematic gameplay moments.

The combat enhancements in Star Wars Jedi Survivor not only offer expanded gameplay options but also reflect the intricate lore and rich history of the Star Wars universe. As players embark on their journey as a Jedi survivor, they will face numerous challenges and enemies, making mastering the combat mechanics crucial for survival.

As a fan of the first game, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, I am eagerly anticipating the release of Jedi Survivor. The first game perfectly captured the essence of the Star Wars universe, delivering a compelling story, challenging combat, and breathtaking visuals. With the improved combat system and new gameplay mechanics, Jedi Survivor looks to build upon the foundation laid by its predecessor, promising an even more immersive and thrilling experience.

In conclusion, the gaming industry continues to provide exciting updates and announcements that keep fans eagerly anticipating what's to come. With WB Montreal working on an unannounced project, the addition of new games to PlayStation Plus Extra, and the upcoming release of Star Wars Jedi Survivor, there's no shortage of excitement in the gaming world. Stay tuned for more updates as we cover the latest developments in the gaming news.
