Step-by-Step Instructions

The Ananta are a combat-focused Beast Tribe introduced in the Stormblood expansion (Patch 4.2). They are located in The Fringes and offer daily quests to level combat jobs from 60 to 70.

1. Complete the Main Scenario

You must progress through the Stormblood Main Scenario Questline until you complete the Level 67 quest "The Silence of the Gods".

2. Complete the Side Quest Chain

Before the unlock quest appears, you must complete a specific chain of side quests in The Fringes. These start at Castrum Oriens:

The Hidden Truth (Level 67) - NPC: Odde (The Fringes X: 9.2, Y: 10.8)
Drawing a Blank - NPC: Odde
Seeking the Lost - NPC: Odde
The Rose Blooms Twice - NPC: M'rahz Nunh (The Fringes X: 30.2, Y: 25.7)

3. Accept "Brooding Broodmother"

Once the prerequisites are met, speak to M'rahz Nunh at the Peering Stones (The Fringes X: 30.2, Y: 25.7) to accept the tribal unlock quest "Brooding Broodmother".

4. Unlock Daily Quests

Follow the questline to Vira Nilya (X: 21.0, Y: 26.2). Upon completion, you will unlock the Ananta Daily Quests. These quests sync to your level and are excellent for leveling combat jobs.

Rewards

By increasing your reputation rank with the Ananta (Vira), you can purchase unique items using Ananta Dreamstaves:

Mounts: Marid, True Griffin
Minion: Wind-up Ananta
Emote: Charm
Others: Crafting materials, dyes, and furnishings.

Lore of the Ananta

The Ananta are a serpentine race native to the mountains of Gyr Abania. They are masters of magicks and jewelry crafting. While the Qalyana tribe summoned the Primal Lakshmi, the Vira tribe—whom you align with—rejected the Primal and seek to aid the Resistance and maintain their independence.
