Step-by-Step Instructions

The Loporrits are a crafting-focused Beast Tribe introduced in the Endwalker expansion (Patch 6.35). They are located in Mare Lamentorum and offer daily quests to level Disciples of the Hand from 80 to 90.

1. Complete the Main Scenario

You must complete the Level 90 Main Scenario Quest "Endwalker" (the finale of the 6.0 expansion).

2. Complete the Side Quest Chain

Before the unlock quest appears in Old Sharlayan, you must complete a specific chain of side quests on the moon (**Mare Lamentorum**). These quests explore the Loporrits' search for a new purpose.

  • Name That Way - NPC: Knockingway (Mare Lamentorum X: 22.0, Y: 10.8)
  • A Way of Living - NPC: Buildingway
  • One Way or Another - NPC: Dreamingway
  • Dream a Little Dream - NPC: Dreamingway

3. Accept "Must Be Dreaming(way)"

Once the prerequisites are met and you are on a Level 80+ Crafter class, head to **Old Sharlayan**. Speak to **Dreamingway** near the Levemete (X: 11.7, Y: 10.9) to begin the tribal unlock quest.

4. Unlock Bestways Burrow

Follow the questline to Bestways Burrow in Mare Lamentorum (X: 17.4, Y: 15.8). You will help the Loporrits create a new radio station to broadcast hope to the people of Etheirys.

Rewards

By increasing your reputation rank with the Loporrits, you can purchase unique items using Loporrit Carats:

  • Mount: Miw Miisv (Moon-hopper)
  • Minion: Findingway
  • Emote: Ear Wiggle (/earwiggle)
  • Others: Orchestrion rolls (Dreamingways' music), furniture, and materia.

Lore of the Loporrits

Created by Hydaelyn, the Loporrits reside on the moon and were originally tasked with preparing it as an escape vessel for mankind. With the Final Days averted, they found themselves without a purpose. Now, they seek to learn more about the people of Etheirys and find new ways to be helpful through music and culture.
