FFXIV Tribal Quests: Sahagin Unlock Guide

Step-by-Step Instructions

The Sahagin are a combat-focused Beast Tribe located in Western La Noscea. They are one of the original tribes introduced in A Realm Reborn.

1. Complete the Main Scenario Prerequisite

Before you can unlock this tribe, you must progress the Main Scenario Questline (MSQ) until you complete the Level 41 quest "In Pursuit of the Past". This quest deals with the events at the Stone Vigil.

2. Locate R'ashaht Rhiki in Limsa Lominsa

Once the prerequisite is met and you are at least Level 44 on a combat job, head to Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks. Locate the NPC R'ashaht Rhiki at Maelstrom Command (X: 13.1, Y: 12.8).

3. Complete "They Came from the Deep"

Accept the quest "They Came from the Deep". This quest will direct you to Novv's Nursery in Western La Noscea (X: 17, Y: 21), a safe haven for Sahagin who seek peace with the land dwellers.

4. Begin Daily Quests

Upon arriving at Novv's Nursery and completing the introduction, you will meet Novv, the clutchfather. You can then accept daily quests to earn EXP and reputation. These quests are great for leveling combat jobs in the 44-50 range.

Rewards

As you increase your reputation rank with the Sahagin, you will unlock various rewards for purchase with Rainbowtide Psashp (the tribal currency) or Gil:

• Mount: Elbst (The sea lizard mount)
• Minion: Wind-up Sahagin
• Furnishing: Sahagin Vendor style items
• Materials: Various crafting materials and dyes

Lore of the Sahagin

The Sahagin are an aquatic race residing in the Indigo Deep. They are fiercely territorial and worship the Primal Leviathan, Lord of the Whorl. Novv's clutch, however, seeks to raise their offspring in safety away from the constant conflict, leading to a tenuous alliance with the people of Limsa Lominsa.
